About Us.

LIMA 1535 is more than a restaurant — it is a statement of identity. Recognized as Florida’s most authentic and innovative Peruvian restaurant, LIMA 1535 pays tribute to the founding year of the City of Kings (Lima).

Here, stone becomes art, alpaca becomes poetry, and every plate maps a sensory journey through the depths of Peru. We serve our creations on hand-carved stone plates, echoing the dining rituals of Inca royalty over 500 years ago — a time when food was sacred and intertwined with nature, gods, and the cycles of the sun.

We aspire to earn the prestigious Bib Gourmand distinction from the Michelin Guide, believing that the ancestral and the contemporary not only coexist — they elevate each other.
We are the heirs of a millennial tradition, projected boldly into the future with soul, fire, and purpose.

Mission

At LIMA 1535, we celebrate the essence of Peru through a modern culinary proposal. Led by Peruvian Chef Ángel Barrios, our kitchen merges responsibly raised organic alpaca and other native ingredients with contemporary techniques to tell stories rooted in the soul of Lima. The journey is paired with a full bar open until 2 a.m., featuring signature cocktails inspired by Peru’s native flavors and ancient rituals.

Vision

LIMA 1535 envisions sharing the profound depth of Peruvian flavors with the world — from the Andes to the Pacific — reimagined with elegance, technique, and reverence. We aim to become a beacon of authenticity and sophistication, guiding our guests through a culinary voyage that honors the past and celebrates the present.
